Every few years, The King himself steps aside & gives back to his people. This year, Felipe
contributed a legendary, one-checkpoint alleycat to the New York City leg of Squid's Velo-City tour.
From Kissena Velodrome in Flushing, Queens to the afterparty at Union Pool in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
There were dozens of ways of making this one-shot, two-borough race, and in the end, it's no surprize that
Austin Horse took it again. Less than a minute later was Dan New Jersey, and then Lucas Brunelle, a legend
in his own right.
Heather came in 18th out of 32 finishers to take first girl, followed by Laura and Dagga, at 21st & 24th, respectively.
Felipe would like to extend a personal thanks to Gandy for his beautiful trophies, and to squid, Mike Dee, Cinecycle,
BMX Bonzai, John at Bicycle Habitat, and Ugalde for all of their contributions as well.
