Cranksgiving 8, November 18 2006

by Tone

over 60 people participated by receiving manifests and/or donating food, however only 47 riders officially finished by handing in their final manifests. Yatika, the winner, won in 1 hour 10 minutes. I want to also make a special mention to rider #28 with the name of "Snowflake," for being the MOST GENEROUS by purchasing double the required amount of food! Unfortunately I was unable to notice the extra contribution and award Snowflake accordingly due to the complexity of this year's course and the time constraints when reviewing all the manifests. Who is snowflake anyway?

Cranksgiving '06 results:
- Start time was 2:57pm.
- Finish times with "-A" and "-B", etc. represent riders finishing within the same minute-span. "-A" riders arrived first, but did not necessarily have their manifests in order.
- DQed riders with *s should not be considered ultimately disqualified due to possible incorrect clock times on specific supermarket cash-registers. I can somewhat account for this by review and comparison of repeated cashier names and awkward purchase times on numerous receipts. I just have to be genuine in recording initial results according to the receipts. Numbers in parenthesis reflect rider placement with consideration to possible inaccurate cash-register times. Riders with only "DQ" ARE disqualified for noted reasons in last column.
- "UP" or "DOWN" beside rider numbers point out whether a rider began with an uptown or downtown route after the start.
