RESULTS: No Guts, No Glory

Uptown's got a lot of hills. And these things called trees. I think I remember them from growing up in Pennsylvania. The Caribbean Team lives uptown, and they brought us up to their 'hood for this race.

Let's talk a little about the controversy surrounding the results of this race. Actually, we could talk about it a lot, and it would probably be better settled by arm wrestling or a dance marathon, but talk is all we can do now. The results were a little...questionable, one might say. The problem was that most of the 17 racers beat the organizer to the finish line. And the first 5 to get there with Jose were all giving themselves pats on the back when all of a sudden, Zach, Brad, and Speedy came down the hill claiming that they passed by here 10 minutes ago and that they had come in top 3. So, nobody knew what the hell was going on. People were missing manifests, manifests were missing stickers from checkpoints, checkpoints were missing people...it was all a big clusterfuck in the Bronx. But frankly, after a little bit, no one seemed to really care.
